R.E.L.A.E. ("we", "us") is a team coordination platform operated at relae.team. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account information — your email address, username, and password (stored as a salted hash; we never see or store your plain-text password).
- Profile information you choose to add — display name, bio, avatar image, presence status, and tag subscriptions.
- Content you create — tasks, projects, comments, chat messages, and file attachments, shared with the members of your organization.
- Operational data — timestamps of activity (e.g., task updates, sign-ins) used for activity feeds and security.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
- We do not use third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
- We do not read your organization's content except as required to operate the service or investigate abuse.
How your data is used
Your data is used solely to provide the service: showing tasks to your team, delivering notifications, sending account emails (verification, password reset, invitations), and keeping your account secure.
Where it lives
Data is stored on Microsoft Azure (United States regions) with encryption at rest and in transit. Email delivery uses Google (Gmail SMTP). We keep automatic database backups for disaster recovery.
Cookies
We use only functional cookies: your sign-in session and your theme preference. No tracking or advertising cookies.
Your choices
- You can edit your profile information at any time from Settings.
- You can delete your account from Settings → Delete Account. This removes your personal information and anonymizes records that must remain for your organization's history (e.g., task activity).
- You can email us at relae.admin@gmail.com with any privacy question or request.
Beta notice
R.E.L.A.E. is in beta. While we take security seriously, you should not store highly sensitive or regulated data (medical records, financial credentials, etc.) on the platform at this time.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, we'll note the new date above and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in-app notice.
